Letters for Scholarships We seek candidates with a broad hand experience with biochemical and imaging methods, including immunofluorescence microscopy, DIC and confocal microscopy, from C. elegans to study the activation of apoptosis and autophagy in response to chemotherapeutic drugs.
-Candidates with strong background in genetics C. elegans or experience of research on DNA damage response using mammalian cell culture will also be considered.
-We are looking for highly motivated candidates with a MSc in relevant disciplines with the ability to work independently and in teams.
-We have an international work environment and use English as working languages. http://www.callforpapersinfo.com

Scholarship description: The Letters for Scholarships goal of our research is to understand how DNA damage is felt, signals and repair. Special focus is to elucidate the role of DNA repair enzymes in the activation of signal transduction cascade that leads to activation of cell death response after treatment with anti-cancer drug. We used a genetic approach to cell, biology and biochemistry. We use C. elegans and human cell lines as model systems in our study
